Staying at the Athens Hotel in Houston, Texas was a delightful experience. The location is fantastic, close to key attractions and vibrant downtown areas. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with all necessary amenities. The breakfast was a treat, featuring a variety of delicious options, both continental and local. What truly stood out was the incredibly friendly and kind staff who made us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality and helpfulness added a personal touch to our stay. Downtown Houston 10 minutes from the George R Brown Convention Center which was our destination. Room was clean and well maintained. We were given bottles of water on check in. The manager was so sweet, carried my bag up the stairs for me, explained entry of door,

The staff was great. Really friendly people and made us feel welcome. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to our show at the House of Blues and feel safe. This was my first hotel stay since before Covid and it was fine. I would stay here again just for the staff and the location.

The hotel does not offer breakfast as advertised. But the location was convenient for me. The fridges in the room very helpful but the stoves need to be cleaned inorder to be used. They smoked too much upon turning on. Last but not least there are cockroaches. Otherwise the staff is great and housekeeping is good. The carpets in future might need an upgrade.

Location is prime for downtown venue convenience. Room was comfortable and small kitchenette would have been used to our convenience had we stayed more than 2 days. We flew in, but parking right across the street ( meter parking).

Fine location near the convention center. Actually very quiet compared to a major chain hotel nearby. Very relaxing sleeping environment . Fully equipped kitchen, bring your own “groceries”. Clean, no bugs. A/C, ceiling fan, nice TV, WI-FI Access , all pluses.

My husband and me had a very short stay in this hotel but the client service was amazing. They were always helpful and very kind. We could order Uber eats without a problem! :D Maybe in the US this hotel is not a 5 star hotel but for European standards, this hotel is great!!

Room is spacious, kitechennete well equiped. Location excellent for downtown, right at the more expensive Hotels. Great value for money

The Location was great!! Right next to the Toyota Center, restaurants, public transportation and parks. Our room had a big kitchen with all appliances included, the bathroom and the room were both very clean and beautifully decorated! The people at the front desk were super friendly, ready to answer any questions we had and available to help us out with anything we need! The owner (Mr. John) is a kind, polite and helpful man that treats each hotel guest as a personal guest! Thank you

It is great for the price. They are transparent on their website about what to expect. Room was in good shape. kitchen included. Slightly smaller room but again, I wasn’t expecting more than I got. Staff was great. I arrived extremely early and for a small fee I was able to get in the room by 11am.
