Staying at the Athens Hotel in Houston, Texas was a delightful experience. The location is fantastic, close to key attractions and vibrant downtown areas. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with all necessary amenities. The breakfast was a treat, featuring a variety of delicious options, both continental and local. What truly stood out was the incredibly friendly and kind staff who made us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality and helpfulness added a personal touch to our stay. Best wishes to the Athens Hotel team for their outstanding service and attention to detail!

The Location was great!! Right next to the Toyota Center, restaurants, public transportation and parks. Our room had a big kitchen with all appliances included, the bathroom and the room were both very clean and beautifully decorated! The people at the front desk were super friendly, ready to answer any questions we had and available to help us out with anything we need! The owner (Mr. John) is a kind, polite and helpful man that treats each hotel guest as a personal guest! Thank you

The hotel does not offer breakfast as advertised. But the location was convenient for me. The fridges in the room very helpful but the stoves need to be cleaned inorder to be used. They smoked too much upon turning on. Last but not least there are cockroaches. Otherwise the staff is great and housekeeping is good. The carpets in future might need an upgrade.

Staff was great. I arrived extremely early and for a small fee I was able to get in the room by 11am.

The staff was great. Really friendly people and made us feel welcome. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to our show at the House of Blues and feel safe. This was my first hotel stay since before Covid and it was fine. I would stay here again just for the staff and the location.
